Description

We are in the market for a Sales Assistant to join our Manufacturing team based in Dayton, Ohio. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity where you will be acting as a liaison between customers and our company. You will be tasked with handling customer queries, including complaints, orders, errors, account questions, billing, cancellations, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between customers and the company, ensuring effective communication

• Assist customers with their complaints, orders, errors, account queries, billing issues, cancellations, and other inquiries

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to maintain and update customer records accurately

• Use your customer service experience to provide exceptional service to all customers

• Generate reports as needed to track and analyze customer interactions and data

• Ensure all data entries are accurate and up to date

• Use your strong communication skills to handle customer inquiries effectively and professionally

• Take appropriate actions for monitoring customer accounts

• Maintain a customer-focused approach to all tasks, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required

• Experience in customer service or CSR role is necessary

• Ability to perform order entry and data entry tasks with accuracy

• Familiarity with alphanumeric data entry is essential

• Experience in generating reports is needed

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Must be able to handle customer queries and provide appropriate solutions

• High attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure is important

• Knowledge of the manufacturing industry will be considered an asset.
