THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD

The RHBA Program Manager Assistant shall provide professional program management assistant support and assistance necessary to aid in the mission accomplishment for the Human Effectiveness Directorate, Air and Space Biosciences Division 711 HPW/RHBA, En Route Care Product Area.

Responsibilities

  • Provide program management assistant support to the En Route Care lead program manager, in efforts to carry out and manage the Air Force Medical Service and SAF/AQR prescribed medical research strategies for cost, schedule and performance.

  • Assist with providing primary managerial support of project scientist and project statistician and serve as an effective liaison between the Air and Space Biosciences Division executive staff and project staff.

  • Troubleshoot all project information system needs, as well as assist in designing and maintaining En Route Care program management business documentation and financial reports/records.

  • Produce and maintain project documentation, correspondence, records regarding matters such as project/program progress and status documentation, budget, finance, property, and accounting.

  • Gather, analyze and identify information required by program or project managers, draw conclusions and work independently with the project/program managers to devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of acquisition effectiveness and compliance.

  • Assist in establishing, promoting, and maintaining a constant and effective working relationship within the division, directorate, 711HPW, MAJCOMS, and stakeholders for coordination, support, and changes to the scope of assigned work.

  • Provide the organizational support necessary for the production of all electronic products required for the project.

  • Provide excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders. As well as interpersonal skills and demonstrates the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, education or business field.

  • Master’s Degree Preferred

  • Minimum eight (8) years’ experience in technology related project management

  • Minimum twelve (12) years’ experience in technology related project management Preferred

  • Experience may be considered in lieu of education

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with cost, schedule, and performance with STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math).

  • Possess excellent organizational, management, and communications skills.

  • Proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.

  • Knowledge and understanding of fundamental fiscal restrictions/regulations and various types of contract vehicles Preferred

  • Familiarity with CCAR (Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System) Preferred

  • Experience in medical research related project management or education Preferred

  • Ability to travel
