Operator I/II – Dayton, Ohio

This position will focus primarily on shipping and receiving responsibilities. Additional responsibilities

for performing production duties to ensure on-time production and shipment of product while adhering to high standards of quality, safety and customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Loading and unloading trucks and moving FG/RM throughout facilities, including the use of fork trucks.

• Printing labels and MSDS sheets from the WERCS system

• Assist in tracking material inventory and performing inventory counts, make inventory transfers in JDE

• Store and retrieve raw materials and supplies in the warehouse.

• Clean up spills of non-hazardous items.

• Prepare drums/bins, etc. for shipment.

• Assist in investigating customer complaints.

• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe facility through performance of general housekeeping duties.

• Loading and unloading tankers and rail cars.

• Receive PO’s in JDE

• Enter cycle counts into the system

• Inspect drums, bins, etc. for shipment.

• Print factory orders, pick lists, and BOLs.

• Ship items in JDE

• Communicate late shipments to OTC group.

• Make UPS and FedEx shipments

• Call trucks for shipment

• Load containerized and bulk raw materials to production vessels

• Enter/retrieve process data, and set up new items and formulas in process control computer

• Operate in process test equipment

• Complete work orders in JDE

• Enter cycle counts

• Make UPS and FedEx shipments

• Call trucks for shipment

• Operate production equipment

• Draw off product into drums, pails and totes

Education/Experience:

A high school diploma and 1-2 years of related chemical manufacturing experience required. 3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
