Work you'll do

Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Functional Analyst to join our team. Practitioner will work closely with the Functional Lead and play a crucial role in analyzing and documenting functional requirements, translating them into actionable plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions. The Functional Analyst will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, contributing to the development and enhancement of systems and applications..

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Functional Lead in managing testing activities for the system, including UAT and functional testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system functionality and efficiency.

• Support the maintenance and accuracy of data within the system.

• Help identify and implement improvements to the system.

• Ensure system compliance with company policies, relevant regulations, and DOD testing processes including JITC.

• Assist in providing training and support to system users.

• Support client-facing responsibilities and facilitate discussions with clients as needed.

Ideal candidate will have

• Knowledge of Data Management systems.

• Familiarity with specific technologies including AWS, Appian, Mulesoft, and Java.

• Experience with modernization efforts in a technology environment.

• Experience in User Acceptance Testing and Functional Testing.

• Familiarity with DOD testing processes including JITC.

• Ability to work in a cross-functional team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Comfortable with client-facing responsibilities and facilitating discussions with clients.

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of professional experience as a functional analyst, QA, data management specialist or related background

• Bachelor's Degree Required

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

• Travel up to 30%

Preferred:

• Experience in a support role for a Data Management system.

• Experience in system testing and data management.

• Knowledge of data management systems and processes.

• Familiarity with AWS, Appian, Mulesoft, Java, and modernization efforts.

• Experience in User Acceptance Testing and Functional Testing.

• Familiarity with DOD testing processes including JITC.
