Job Number: R0217065 F-35 Electronic Warfare Engineer The Opportunity: As an electronic warfare (EW) and countermeasures (CM) engineer, you know that leading-edge fighter aircraft technology and systems are critical to national defense. We need your skills and expertise in aviation systems and avionics engineering to develop creative solutions that directly impact the warfighter. You'll provide expertise in evaluating new technologies, performing risk assessments, and improving the design of aerospace systems. You'll orchestrate the development of EW systems through the full lifecycle, from requirements determination through operations. Your experience in technology planning and DoD acquisition processes are key and make you an integral part of delivering a client-focused solution. In this role, you'll contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and designing leading-edge aerospace technology for the F-35. You'll work with a community of engineers across the company, collaborate with clients to deliver world-class solutions for F-35 systems, and evaluate new technologies for application in improving designs. Your engineering knowledge will help the Department of Defense expand and improve their capabilities to protect national security and the warfighter. You Have: 9+ years of experience in a lead electronic warfare engineering or technical position 3+ years of experience in support of a 4th or 5th Generation U.S. strike or fighter aircraft Experience with DoD acquisition processes, system engineering practices, and technical oversight Ability to independently think, plan, and work at both a tactical and strategic level Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering Nice If You Have: Experience with EW and CM acquisition Experience with Test and Evaluation of EW systems Knowledge of Special Access Programs Possession of excellent organizational and project management skills Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Top Secret clearance Master's degree in Engineering Level I Acquisition Professional in Engineering Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
