Who We Need Sabel Systems is seeking a data scientist with experience in using data to develop digital models supporting model-based systems engineering, operational and logistical optimization. Our customer is responsible for managing spaceport launch operations, putting critical payloads into space orbit. If this sounds exciting this might be the position for you! Research and develop reports in the form of Models, CVS files, and narratives • Work with information from data sources that differ in language, format, and syntax that cross different functional boundaries such as engineering, logistics and financial communities of interest. • Develop protocols that enrich data presentations for senior management decisions and define gaps in subordinate data both within a functional community and for data that crosses functional boundaries that lacks an antecedent or subsequent recipient to fully complete an information process flow • Work with structured and unstructured data to support model-based systems engineering for a cutting-edge US DoD organization. • Support digital transformation within an organization • Use data to improve modelling concepts and processes • Research and develop recommendations to enhance the fidelity and holistic application of information and data process both at the program/project level and enterprise level including but not limited to the DoD Program Objective Memorandum (POM) cycles and OEM funding within the general scope of an existing contractor. Your Qualifications Required • C+, ABAP (SAP), NOSQL, data cubes, low code, and no code programming • Python, R, or SQL • Experience using data to support organizational transformation • Experience using data to improve organizational performance • Secret Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance • 2 years of relevant experience • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Engineering • Relevant experience may be substituted for education Desired • Experience working with Department of Defense organizations • Agile Development • Lean process improvement • Experience with cloud platforms • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Engineering Equal Opportunity Employer including Disability and Veterans Sabel Systems is committed to the health and safety of all employees and encourages the COVID vaccination.
