WHO YOU ARE

You are a Construction Superintendent with at least ten (10) years of construction experience and at least five (5) years spent working as a superintendent. You have good time management, organization, and follow-up skills, as well as good interpersonal and customer interaction skills. You are comfortable using technology and have working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Procore, or another project management software.

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Gorsuch Construction is looking for a Construction Superintendent who will provide on-site coordination for all phases of a construction project(s). This includes coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Schedule contractors, subcontractors and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion, issuing notices of noncompliance due to work quality or scheduling conflicts.
  • Collaborate and communicate with key stakeholders  to ensure project teams are well informed and can respond and resolve issues and/or concerns promptly, as well as to ensure constant collaboration and coordination throughout the project life cycle.
  • Perform job progress, construction punch list identification/completion and quality control duties and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate and track required inspections with local building authorities.
