The Chart Review Specialist review and assesses tissue donor chart information to determine Tissue Donor Eligibility based on first and second review criteria. They ensure that the eligibility is compliant with all regulatory and accreditation standards prior to final chart release. Chart Review Specialist work directly with the Solvita medical staff. First Shift Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Starting pay is $20.48 per hour. Opportunities to join various employee committees MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Chart Review Specialist I High School diploma or equivalent. Familiar with FDA and AATB regulations and standards. Intermediate computer literacy. Medical records and/or medical terminology experience. Proficient in critical thinking and decision-making. WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree from an accredited college preferred. Familiar with Medical terminology. One year experience in tissue banking. Demonstrated ability to organize records and utilize critical thinking skills to perform review and assessment of those records. Proven ability to maintain focus with a high attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage competing priorities. Proven ability to communicate effectively with Medical staff and internal and external customers.
