Adecco US, Inc. Local Driver / Cleaning Technician in Davie, Florida

Adecco is looking for a Local Driver / Cleaning Technician w ith experience in costumer service and will be responsible to learn to perform all the cleaning services. Also to provide accurate and legible written estimates to customers. This is a Perm placement position to work in the Davie, FL area. The Local Driver / cleaning technician must have a valid driver license and clean driving record. The cleaning technician will be responsible to learn to perform all the cleaning services offered by the company. A technician is required to be able to work ln a customer's home without direct supervision from a manager of Dry-Concepts, after being deemed to be trained sufficiently. This position also requires the technician to sell products and services to prospective customers.

Position Duties and Responsibilities.

  1. To perform on-site evaluations of carpet, furniture and other textiles, and provide accurate and legible written estimates for customers.

  2. Use all company approved cleaning methods to clean carpet, furniture and other textiles.

  3. Write legible invoices for all services performed.

  4. Collect all funds received and turn in, in a manner prescribed by the company.

  5. Maintain all equipment assigned in good working order. Report any equipment needing repair to proper personnel.

  6. When assigned a van, van must be kept clean and organized. Each technician is responsible to report needed maintenance and repairs for said van to proper personnel.

  7. Properly and safely store all chemicals and equipment on vans, in customer's premises, and in shop. The technician will be responsible to maintain a sufficient supply of chemicals and proper equipment on a van, when assigned.

  8. A technician will also be expected to participate in cleaning and maintenance of shop facilities as needed.

  9. Technicians are expected to treat coworkers and customers with respect and courtesy.

  10. Technicians must be able to report to work no later than 7:00 am. Technicians must be able to work every other Saturday.

  11. Any tasks not mentioned above that are requested by management, and that can be performed in a safe manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. A clean driving record is required in order to be insured by the Company's insurance provider.

  2. At times technicians will be left alone in a customer's home or business. Therefore, a technician must not have been convicted of a criminal offense, within the specified period of time.

  3. A high school diploma. A G.E.D. may be considered if the reason for not completing high school is not due to negative problems or sufficient time has passed since high school.

  4. Adequate business math skills, (test will be administered)

  5. Technician must speak fluent English. A second language is a plus but is not required.

  6. A technician must be able to lift equipment weighing 50 pounds in and out of vans and customer's homes, as well as to move furniture and other items normally able to be moved by one person.

  7. Applicants must display an aptitude for- sales and customer services

  8. A pre-employment profile questionnaire will be administered to determine aptitudes in the above areas and others. The results will be strongly considered in any hiring decisions.

Pay Details: $43.00 to $45.00 per year
