BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:
The position of Financial Analyst plans and prepares financial and operational models and analyzes various scenarios.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans and prepares financial/operational models and analyzes scenarios and results for presentation to management.
Prepares and monitors operating budgets and forecasts. Performs modeling and analysis on these budgets and forecasts including variance and trend analysis.
Recommends strategies to management and develops business plans using understanding of MSC’s operational structure and functions.
Prepares analytical reports for management review.
Financial analysis and reporting required to support the integration of acquired companies.
Drives the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC’s mission.
Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
Actively work with associates and management at various locations.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or the equivalent is required.
Minimum of three years financial and operational business experience is required.
SKILLS:
Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles is required.
Computer literacy and proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software is required.
Excellent analytical and data manipulation skills are required.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills are also required.
MISCELLANEOUS:
A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 10% of the time are required.
Compensation starting at $56280 - $80400 depending on experience.
The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s relevant experience, education requirements and peer pay equity. The Company reserves the right to modify the range as market conditions change.
