As a Data Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in understanding data structures across various client verticals/industries to enhance reporting and analytics effectiveness. Working closely with Operations Solutions Consultants and Data Storytellers, you will design and implement visual tools that drive operational decision-making efficiency within manufacturing organizations. Key responsibilities include conceptualizing data architectures, crafting specification documents, and occasionally configuring software. You will engage directly with clients to analyze processes and data correlations, optimizing manufacturing workflows. • BS Degree in Computer Science or Engineering disciplines or equivalent demonstrable skill acquisition combined with work experience
• Advanced SQL skills and demonstrated experience with relational database design/implementation that served reporting and analytics in Windows environments (Minimum 5 years).
• Demonstrated experience in developing Requirements, Design, and Technical Specification documents including data-based systems and data integration (Minimum 2 years).
• Demonstrated experience in software development using: SQL, Python, NET, C#, VB, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and others

  • Analytics applications such as Braincube, Twin Thread, or others.
  • Applications such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, or other reporting and data visualization tools in support of reporting and visualization development
  • AVEVA/Wonderware or similar solutions including:
    • MES (Performance, Operations, and Quality)
    • Work Tasks
    • System Platform components like App Server, Historian and InTouch
  • SCADA/HMI data sources
• Knowledge / experience interfacing with ERP, EAM, LIMS, systems are beneficial.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Willingness to travel as required, typically in 1-3 day increments, 1-2 times per month to meet with customers.
