DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Tool & Cutter Grinder to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Power Systems Business Segment in Daventry, UK.

This is a permanent Cummins Contract working 37.5 hours per week on three-rotational shift pattern:

  • Mornings: Monday to Friday 07.00am – 3.00pm

  • Mid Shift: Monday to Thursday 3.00pm – 11.00pm

  • Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday 11.00pm – 07.00am

  • Promote Environmental Responsibility: Recognizing and minimizing the environmental impact of your work will contribute to sustainable manufacturing practices.

  • Maintain Quality Standards: Following quality procedures and performing inspections will ensure that only high-quality products reach customers. Working with tool drawings to accurately set CNC machine tools to specific tolerances.

  • Optimize Production: Operating equipment proficiently and achieving production goals will help meet customer expectations and company targets.

  • Mentor Team Members: Instructing and coaching less experienced team members will enhance overall team capability and performance.

  • Maintain Equipment: Performing routine maintenance and identifying repair needs will keep production running smoothly and reduce downtime.

  • Foster Teamwork: Effective communication and collaboration with your team and support staff will improve workflow and problem-solving.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in initiatives to improve quality, safety, and processes will contribute to the company’s growth and success.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
