Description

We are looking for a PL/SQL Developer to join the team in Davenport, Iowa. The position is onsite within a manufacturing/production location and will support the enhancement of business processes. The team is collaborative and requires to work onsite, 5x per week,

Duties

• Analyze, enhance and support business processes that may span multiple computing environments.

• Work primarily in the Linux/Oracle area of IT.

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the business processes and a general understanding of the aluminum manufacturing business.

• Take initiative to identify and implement system and/or process improvements in their area of support.

• Interact with systems analysts and business process owners and local user experts.

• Utilize project methodology and tools to deliver solutions and communicate status.

• Operate within and influences IS standards and conventions and promote adherence within the IS organization.

Additional

• Strong communication and relationship skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers, other analysts, and management.

• Solid understanding of systems analysis, design, and programming techniques Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Experienced translating business requirements into system functional requirements.

• Experience working with Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing systems.

Work Environment

• Onsite 5x per week

• Partners with Systems Administrators, Engineers, Developers and Business Teams.

• Heavy PL/SQL-Oracle

Schedule

• Monday-Friday.

• 1st shift hours.

• Saturdays & Sundays Off.

• Federal Holidays Off.
