Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Danville, Indiana

Description We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in DANVILLE, Indiana. The HR Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the HR department, developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy. This role is integral to maintaining HR policies and procedures, creating HR programs to boost employee engagement and retention, and managing the organization's compensation and benefits program.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all HR operations, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, performance management, employee relations, and legal compliance

• Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy

• Maintaining HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations

• Creating comprehensive and sustainable HR programs to build capacity, drive employee engagement and boost retention

• Managing the organization's compensation and benefits program to ensure competitiveness in the market

• Assessing training needs, developing training curriculum and conducting workshops with regard to HR issues and compliance

• Providing supervision and mentorship to HR staff

• Representing the organization in community or industry HR groups and programs

• Overseeing workplace investigations and resolving any conflicts or disputes

• Managing the organization's performance evaluation processes Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role

• Proven proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Experienced in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Knowledge of Ceridian, HRMS, and About Time software

• Strong understanding of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Familiarity with Compliance procedures and Employee Relations

• Previous experience with Human Resources Management System

• Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve workplace issues effectively

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred

• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
