State of Massachusetts Residential Services Director in Danvers, Massachusetts

The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is dedicated to creating, in partnership with others, innovative and genuine opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities to participate fully and meaningfully in, and contribute to, their communities as valued members. DDS is seeking motivated and experienced candidates for the role of Residential Services Director. The Residential Services Director works within Northeast Residential Services (NRS). NRS is the largest State Operated provider in the Commonwealth and is comprised of 70 homes that are located throughout the Northeast Region of DDS. This Residential Services Director position is responsible for the overall management for 10 of the homes within NRS that provide 24 hour a day residential supports to 43 individuals. This position has many critical functions that are imperative to ensuring the well-being of the residents we serve that include but are not limited to the following: * Provides direct oversight to 10 homes; has on-call responsibilities 24/7. * Responsible for crisis and emergency management in an effort to maintain the health and safety of our residents at all times. * Provide direct and indirect supervision to approximately 120 DDS employees: ensuring fiscal responsibility by monitoring all assigned budgets (household, overtime, staffing and furniture/equipment). The incumbent will ensure that the homes are clean safe and well maintained at all times, insuring compliance with all applicable regulations. * Responsible for making hiring recommendations as well as labor relations reviews, tracking utilization of overtime, identifying trends and problem solve for overtime mitigation. * Maximize monthly revenues through oversight of Federal Reimbursement for Services as well as the SNAP Program (Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program). * Ensure all staff is educated in Human Rights and that all Human Rights are being respected. * Monitor compliance with all DPPC and Department Investigations to ensure that the rights, dignity, and safety of the residents are protected at all times. * Maintain compliance with the Individualized Service Plans, ensuring all staff maintain required training. * Serves as a liaison to families/guardians as well as the Area and Regional Offices. * Responsible for timely incident reporting and tracking as well as ISP submission through HCSIS (Home and Community Service Information System). Also responsible for reporting and approving time through SSTA (Self Service Time and Attendance). Also serves as a hiring manager within Mass Careers. _Please Note:_ Position is based in Danvers, the homes assigned to this position are located throughout the Central Middlesex, Merrimack Valley, Greater Lowell. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm Days Off: Saturday/Sunday /Flexibility required to meet the needs of the program, as there may be off hour and/or weekend meetings that need to be covered. Substitutions: I. A certificate in a relevant or related field may be substituted for one (1) year of the required (A) experience. II. A Graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for three (3) years of the required (A) experience. IV.
