Eastman Warehouse Lead in Dania Beach, Florida

Responsibilities

  • Manage/Assign daily tasks for Warehouse Associates

  • Rotating day to day schedules in warehouse (who is staying late for UPS, lunches, etc)

  • Prioritize order shipments by expedited shipping, order size and shipping urgency.

  • Ensure all orders are shipped daily.

  • Communicate shipping conflicts with management so that the customer base has minimal impact.

  • Determining cut off time/ order prioritization and communicating those needs to Office Manager

  • Execute Replenishment Orders and communicate needs to Office Manager

  • Execute Box/supply order

  • Notifying and working with Office Manager in SAP if inventory levels are wrong causing stock outages

  • New hire onboarding for Warehouse Associates (in conjunction with Office Manager)

  • Enforcing safety guidelines and notifying management of any concerns

  • Assist with cycle counting, monthly inventory count, etc.

  • Oversee calibration of machinery on routine schedule

  • Identifying/assisting machine repairs

  • Backup to Warehouse Supervisor as required

  • Review errors and identify cause/ solution

  • Communicate SNCI observations to Office Manager

  • Coach/ train Warehouse Associates on processes

  • Monitor returns to warehouse

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

  • Be able to perform all the essential elements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • Have successfully completed appropriate training for the job.

  • Be capable of providing clear and concise verbal and written communications.

  • Possess and practice good organizational skills and be able to self-manage.

  • Must be able to function effectively in a team environment and contribute positively to the department’s team efforts.

  • Have, or possess the ability to learn, a general knowledge of the department, safety and regulatory requirements for the department, basic computer skills, basic language and mathematics skills, and become knowledgeable of a variety of software packages including corporate systems, i.e., Microsoft Office products, Intranet, SAP, and SharePoint etc.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety, proactively working safely and protecting the environment.

  • Be able to accept and provide constructive feedback.

  • Must work overtime as needed.

  • Must be able to understand and retain training on cutting / plotting / shipping equipment, policies and checklists.

  • Must be able to effectively interpret and apply training in performance of the job.

  • Must be able to lift and push.
