Description

Summary:

Position is responsible for supporting the Hospital Service Agreement Administrator with managing and processing Physician Hospital Service Agreements and their appropriate reimbursement for services for seven hospitals within the Nuvance Health System.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepares drafts of Hospital Service Agreement (HSA) documents outlining duties and payment rates for employed Nuvance Health Medical Practice Physicians and Non-Employed Community Physicians.

  2. Obtains the review and authorization by Administration and Legal of the HSA contract using the contract software.

3. Sends final contract agreements to Physician and Hospital President for signatures using the electronic software to ensure timely compliance.

4. Ensures contract database is current with comprehensive documentation.

  1. Creates check requests and time sheets for all Physicians with HSAs in order to ensure timely and compliant payment for services provided.

  2. Tracks Physician�s Hospital Services monthly time allocations assuring accuracy and compliance with their contracts.

  3. Processes employed physician payments for hospital services bi-monthly via a payroll file upload.

  4. Processes community physician payments for hospital services bi-monthly via an accounts payable file upload.

  5. Responsible for ongoing maintenance of updates of department grids, master grids (budget), time sheets, check requests, payroll and accounts payable upload files.

  6. Communicates and follow up with department liaisons and physicians to guarantee collection of all time sheets and check requests.

  7. Participates in meetings with Physician and Hospital leadership.

  8. Compliance with all Nuvance policies and all applicable laws and regulations.

  9. Maintains and Models Nuvance Health Values.

  10. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.

  11. Performs other duties as required.

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Strong Excel and computer skills

Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity

Occupational: Little or no potential for occupational risk

Physical Effort: Sedentary/light effort. May exert up to 10 lbs. force

Physical Environment: Generally pleasant working conditions
