Robert Half Human Resources Assistant in Danbury, Connecticut

Description

We are searching for a highly skilled and motivated Contract Human Resources Assistant to join our HR Department. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of HR administrative duties and support our HR Department's daily activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR department, including recruitment and onboarding process.

  • Help organize and manage HR records, database systems, and digital files.

  • Update and maintain employee records (attendance, personal details, etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.

  • Support in the processing of documentation and preparation of reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.).

  • Coordinate scheduling of HR-related meetings, interviews, events, and other activities.

  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration.

  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries and provide assistance as needed.

  • Support HR Manager with various tasks as needed.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant, or a related role.

  • Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HR functions in compliance with all regulations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Detail-oriented, with an ability to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time contract position with the potential for permanent placement based on individual performance and company needs. The position is located in Danbury, CT, with normal business hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
