Controller
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled North America Controller to lead the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes within the Finance team. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of financial reporting and compliance, particularly in a manufacturing environment. The North America Controller will work closely with various stakeholders to drive process improvements, ensure financial integrity, and facilitate strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financials for the organization.
Prepare and report actuals and forecasts, in collaboration with the Assistant Group Controller, making necessary adjustments as required.
Compile and distribute financial reports to management.
Conduct incentive calculations for the North America division.
Oversee roadmap and market segment reporting.
Prepare and present the monthly operations meeting package.
Coordinate and prepare the strategic plan, budgets, and standard costs for the division.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and COSO frameworks.
Maintain compliance with lease reporting standards and revenue recognition.
Monitor, analyze, and report on inventory valuation, production costs, and other financial aspects.
Analyze excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory and recommend alternative uses or disposal strategies.
Prepare various reports for tax compliance and liaise with tax authorities.
Assist in audit calculations to ensure sustainability.
Participate in key organizational projects to drive process improvements and cost reductions.
Collaborate with the Director of Manufacturing Technology to evaluate payback on capital expenditures.
Review and analyze financial reports from all divisions, pinpointing areas for cost reduction and tracking progress.
Review division hard close checklists and ensure adherence to processes.
Travel domestically and to other locations as needed for business purposes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
10 to 12 years of relevant financial experience, with a strong focus on manufacturing operations.
Proven experience in financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with various departments and stakeholders.
Familiarity with financial compliance regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley and COSO.
Proficient in financial software and reporting tools.
Ability to travel as required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
