Job Title: Tooling Technician

Job Description

The Tooling Technician will be responsible for the removal, replacement, disassembly, and re-assembly of tools and molds for plastic injection molding machines to clean them and ensure quality of products. Utilizing various hand and power tools effectively. Overhead crane operation. Robotics troubleshooting. They could also use somebody with high-level mold, tool, and/or die maintenance work, which is a role that pays $30-$38/hr, depending on experience.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Dalton, GA.

Work Environment

The work environment is clean, and there is some climate control in the facility, but tends to be hot during the summer. Either preventative maintenance on molds or preventative and reactive maintenance on molds for well-experienced candidates.

Pay: $23-$27/hr for Preventative Maintenance Tooling Techs

$30-$38/hr for well-experienced mold/tool/die maintenance professionals

Shift: 2nd - 2:00pm to roughly midnight

3rd - 10:00pm to roughly 8:00am

Schedule: Monday-Friday with OT on weekends as needed - Saturdays will be pretty often, Sundays will only be occasionally

Weekly Hours: 60-65 for the first 3-4 months, then it will go down to more like 50-55
