Position Overview

Position Overview:

Maintain adequate supply of auxiliary chemicals for the CDR department. This includes all chemical stock tank additives, dyes, and stain/spray chemistry.

Essential Duties:

• Monitor and maintain dyes, chemicals, stains, and sprays.

• Communicate daily with external suppliers on inventory levels.

• Maintain receipt records for all deliveries.

• Weekly and monthly inventories are required.

• Communicate any non-conforming raw material issues.

• Maintain all Dye House document control.

• Assist in keeping work areas in a clean, orderly manner.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, walk, speak, hear, look at a computer screen, and look at reports.

• Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance.

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.

• Close vision is required.

• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts either day or night, weekdays or weekends as scheduled.

• Manual dexterity and problem-solving abilities.

• Communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.

• Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized solutions.

• Work in normal industrial environment with inherent background noise, dirt, humidity, and temperature variations.

• The employee works near moving mechanical parts and in precarious places.

• This position has the responsibility of the quality and safety of the employees in his/her department.

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
