Responsibilities

We are helping a company in Northwest GA screen candidates for a direct hire / permanent Fleet Technician position. The company is well established, offers competitive wages, amazing benefits, opportunities for continuing education, along with bonus options.

The Fleet Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all company vehicles and heavy equipment.

General Responsibilities:

• Assist other mechanics with general repairs and maintenance on company vehicles / equipment (i.e.: diagnostic tests; checking engines, brakes, transmissions, electrical systems, hydraulics; etc.)

• Maintain inventory of parts needed to complete procedures and order needed supplies when low.

• Monitor mandatory company and DOT ‘vehicle checks and records' to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• Previous experience

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Able to drive commercial vehicles

• Have valid GA driver's license

• Have or willing to get CDL

• Able to bend, reach, stand for entire shift
