We're helping a company in Dalton, GA recruit for experienced Creelers and Creeler Menders for day shift openings. salary: $14 - $15 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

Looking for experienced Creelers and Creeler/Menders.

Creelers:

• Unpack yarn from pallets

• Load yarn onto the creel rack

• Splice yarn ends together

• Remove empty cones & replace with full yarn cones - starting the process all over

• Expected to maintain all housekeeping (primarily cleaning up cardboard & plastic from yarn pallets and sweep up yarn pieces.

Creeler/Mender:

• Required to Creel and Mend which will include inspecting creel / tuft to ensure no quality issues

• Recognize and identify errors in a timely manner.

• Fix mistakes or notify supervisor if mistakes are too large or bad to correct

Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years recent Creeling / Mending exp.

• Able to stand for 10-12 hour shift

Shift: Normal hours are Mondays to Thursdays / 7am-5pm + Fridays / 7am-3pm during peak times

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 25lbs

• standing for 12 hours at one time

• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

• Palletizing
