Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Dalton, Georgia, 30722, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. You will undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently, with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion.

Responsibilities:

• Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate parties.

• Organize and schedule appointments as needed.

• Plan and coordinate meetings, and take detailed minutes.

• Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.

• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.

• Develop and maintain an effective filing system.

• Update and maintain office policies and procedures.

• Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers.

• Maintain contact lists for easy access and reference.

• Book travel arrangements for staff as required.

• Submit and reconcile expense reports.

• Provide general support to visitors as the first point of contact.

• Act as the liaison for internal and external clients, handling requests and queries from senior managers. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.

• Proven ability to answer inbound calls in a professional and courteous manner.

• Experience in providing excellent customer service.

• Proficiency in email correspondence, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and timeliness.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars.

• Ability to complete expense reports accurately and promptly.

• Experience in making travel arrangements including booking flights, hotels, and car rentals.

• Demonstrated ability in report preparation, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certification in Office Administration is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
