Description

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in North Dallas, Texas. This role involves maintaining financial records, performing ledger reconciliations, and supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. You will also contribute to the preparation of financial statements, assist in audits, and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial records

• Carry out general ledger reconciliations and participate in month-end/year-end closing processes

• Generate, update, and maintain general journal entries

• Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Assist with both internal and external audits

• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support

• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data

• Uphold company accounting policies.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with maintaining General Ledger

• Capability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in utilizing NetSuite for accounting tasks

• Familiarity with Oracle for financial management

• Experience with QuickBooks for accounting functions

• Knowledge in utilizing SAP for financial management

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
