Description We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to join our team in McKinney, Texas. In this role, you will be tasked with handling financial and board reporting, managing allocated expenses, and providing oversight and review of accounting procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and review journal entries and month-end accrivals to ensure accuracy.

• Take charge of financial and board reporting on a monthly basis, including fluctuations and document preparation.

• Handle and manage fixed assets, with a focus on utilizing QuickBooks for asset management.

• Coordinate with various departments on their annual spend, providing guidance on budgeting and alternate spending methods.

• Supervise the management and development of an entry level accountant.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills for maintaining and linking spreadsheets, with potential use of index-match and pivot functions.

• Familiarize yourself with and use specific software such as QuickBooks Online and DonorPerfect.

• Take initiative in performing tasks beyond the routine checklist, with a focus on mentoring and development.

• Reconcile accounts, balance sheets, and bank statements as part of regular duties.

• Use systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for general ledger and month-end close activities. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required

• Ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation is essential

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is mandatory

• Must possess a solid understanding of General Ledger operations

• Capability to execute Journal Entries accurately and efficiently

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for accounting and reporting tasks

• Must be capable of handling Month End Close activities

• Experience with NetSuite for accounting processes is required

• Knowledge of Oracle for financial management is essential

• Familiarity with SAP for business process management is required
