Our FAA 145 Repair Station in Dallas, TX is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Shipping and Receiving Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of shipping and receiving operations, ensuring efficient processes and timely delivery of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
Oversee and direct operations for incoming and outgoing shipments and management of raw material
Lead a diverse group of shipping, receiving, and material handling professionals
Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding shipping and receiving issues
Collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
Activities include but are not limited to, the development, integration, implementation, and execution of supply chain business processes
Develop and coach the team to improve inventory accuracy, material inventory, and delivery to internal customers
Manage scheduling and logistics to optimize shipping and receiving operations
Qualifications
Required skills/experience:
5+ years of experience in management
Knowledge of managing shipping, warehousing, receiving, and internal logistic functions
Project Management experience
Microsoft office
Experience with SAP
Preferred Qualification:
Logistics Management
