Robert Half SEC Technical Advisory Consultant in Dallas, Texas

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an SEC Reporting Manager in the Service industry, based in Dallas, Texas. This role is crucial in guiding our team through a critical period of financial restatement of revenue recognition. The chosen candidate will play a significant role in interpreting intricate accounting rules related to revenue recognition and advising on their application.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the financial restatement of revenue recognition, ensuring adherence to SEC regulations and other applicable rules

• Utilize extensive knowledge of SEC regulations to analyze, interpret, and advise on intricate accounting inquiries

• Develop technical accounting memos and other forms of written analyses for complex, non-standard transactions to uphold compliance with US GAAP and SEC Regulations

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of the company's SEC filings ensuring they accurately reflect the financial restatement process

• Collaborate with other teams to establish, implement, and maintain internal processes, controls, and policies that assure proper revenue recognition and meet SOX compliance

• Coordinate with external auditors to address issues related to financial restatements by providing efficient and necessary support

• Stay updated on new technical literature related to the SEC reporting and communicate any impact this might have on the company to senior management

• Act as a technical accounting coach to other staff, if required Requirements • Comprehensive knowledge of SEC Regulations

• Expertise in Technical Accounting

• Proficiency in conducting Technical Assessments

• Ability to provide Technical Assistance

• Familiarity with Securities And Exchange Commission guidelines

• Experience with Form 10-K and Form 10-Q

• Understanding of Company Revenue Recognition

• Ability to prepare External Financial Reports

• Experience in Annual Financial Reporting

• Strong skills in Financial Reporting

• Proficiency in SEC Financial Reporting
