Thoracic Surgery & Pulmonary Transplant Opportunities

Our Thoracic Surgery & Pulmonary Transplant is a fast-paced environment that include high acuity patients. Are you looking to increase your knowledge base? Our Thoracic Surgery & Pulmonary Transplant leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member.

Thoracic Surgery & Pulmonary Transplant

Patient Population: patients undergoing minimally invasive video assisted thoracoscopic (VAT) surgeries, esophagectomy, hernia repair and lung transplantation. Also take care of ENT, abdominal and orthopedic surgeries that require heart monitoring.

Patient Ratios: 1:3 or 1:4 based on acuity

Department Specifics: Expert team of surgeons has pioneered minimally, invasive (VATS) approaches to lung cancer treatment as well as robotic surgery for the treatment of many thoracic diseases with latest research and clinical trials. Offer a management team that is supportive and a culture that is conducive for learning! Multi-discipline teams include Nurses, Patient Care Techs, Physical therapists, Respiratory therapists, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.

Open Shifts: 7:00am – 7:00pm Days

Registered Nurse Requirements

· Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program

· License/Certification

o RN – Registered Nurse with min 1-year acute care experience

o BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
