Insight Global REMOTE Oracle EBS Developer in Dallas, Texas

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle developer/ analyst who is a self-starter that has a complete understanding of the Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 technical architecture and underlying table structures.

Oracle Developer possess at least 7 years of experience in information system implementation. Oracle Developer will support existing functionality as well as implement new projects/capabilities.

Oracle Developer should have experience in recommending best practices using the EBS architecture and feel comfortable driving design efforts.

The Oracle Developer will be expected to interact with business and IT.

Responsibilities include:

Developing system enhancements, reports and data integrations into Oracle modules or other third-party systems

Design, develop code and create unit test plans for ensuring application code is functioning correctly

Create Technical design documents and migration documents based on the business/functional requirements

Develop and deliver user training and user documentation

Conduct root cause analysis in support of process improvements

Ability to clearly communicate with team members on issues, status and design ideas throughout a project

Improve/simplify processes and/or enhance the functionality of Oracle Custom Code

Provide guidance and/or instruction to other IT team members

Support both the IT and Finance sides of Oracle Financials

Serve as an application (functional and technical) and data expert.

Do analytical work to resolve production issues, then either fix the issue (process or program change) and /or define changes needed to fix issue to 3rd party vendor

Support product upgrades from all 3rd party vendors

Regression test all customer developed application code for all 3rd party software point & major upgrades

Skills and Requirements

  • PL/SQL: 5 + years of experience

  • Oracle EBS: 5 + years of experience

  • SQL: 5 + years of experience

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • 7 + years experience within a technology field

  • 7 + years in Oracle Financials development

  • Oracle Finance Functional and Technical experience in R12

  • Strong knowledge in PL/SQL scripts, SQL query and UNIX

  • Strong functional knowledge in the Financial Functional modules: GL, AP and Fixed Assets

  • Strong PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder, XML Publisher

  • Strong knowledge in fine tuning scripts and resolving performance issue

  • Ability to work independently, while engaging the customer and providing information to team OA/ADF Framework, Java, Oracle Application Express (Oracle APEX) GetPaid, TM1, Certification, ReconNet, Kofax null
