Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Principal Software Engineer

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akarad St., Dallas, TX 75202 [and various work locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

DUTIES: Cricket Wireless, LLC, is seeking a Principal Software Engineering in Dallas, TX [and various work locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to design, develop, deploy, and support of system interfaces and UI for the Cricket’s Multi-Channel Sales POS system. Advise on technical knowledge and Cricket technologies. Architect efficient and reusable front-end and back-end systems that drive complex web applications. Lead cross-team projects or single team projects of substantial technical complexity. Participate in product development in all stages from planning and design to development and testing. Participate in scrum process as team member. Own systems. Engage in the growth of others via teaching and mentorship. Collaborates cross-functionally to coordinate action on challenges. Work with portfolio stakeholders, Solution and Enterprise Architects, to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enablers. Contribute code across the entire stack adhering to industry best practices. Establish critical NFRs at the solution level, participate in the definition of others. Drive and participate in code and document reviews, mentoring team in best practices. Collaborate with peer organizations, dev ops, support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance. Interact with business teams and proposing technical designs. Develop new components or updating and customizing components as per the system requirements using API design/development, REST, SOA, OOAD, Design Patterns, application and software architecture, application/software testing, specifically, Unit, Integration, System, Case Planning, Design and Execution, Agile, WSDLS, SOAP, HTML, DHTML, XHTML, Java, and J2EE. Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 5 Years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 Years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation interacting with business teams and proposing technical designs; developing new components or updating and customizing components as per the system requirements using API design/development, REST, SOA, OOAD, Design Patterns, application and software architecture, application/software testing, specifically, Unit, Integration, System, Case Planning, Design and Execution, Agile, WSDLS, SOAP, HTML, DHTML, XHTML, Java, and J2EE; and performing analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying and supporting of applications.
