Overview
The Principal Business Analyst- HCM is instrumental in supporting and enhancing IT processes for HR & Legal functions, including Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, People Services, Office of the CHRO and al legal functions. This role focuses on data analysis, process standardization, and identifying improvement opportunities, while building strong partnerships across teams. Leveraging expertise in HCM and Legal technologies (like Contract Lifecycle Management), the Principal IT Analyst works to resolve data issues, monitor KPIs, and drive efficiency initiatives within HCM systems.
Primary Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret HCM data, creating detailed reports for HR & Legal and management teams to support decision-making.
Process Standardization: Utilize HCM systems knowledge (e.g., SuccessFactors, LegalFiles, CLM, Bridge, Kronos Dimensions and many others) to identify discrepancies and establish standardized processes across HR & Legal functions.
Documentation & Requirements Gathering: Develop procedural flows and business requirements documents, ensuring clarity and alignment for technology solutions.
Data Integrity & Efficiency Tools: Maintain and ensure data accuracy, developing tools to enhance team efficiency and support HR & Legal operations.
KPI Management: Define, track, and monitor KPIs, using data insights to inform and support strategic objectives.Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams to drive improvements, facilitate change, and align on strategic goals.
Mentorship & Education: Guide and mentor team members, conduct end-user training, and promote best practices across the IT organization.
Communication & User Adoption: Effectively communicate updates on systems and processes, ensuring understanding and adoption across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and three years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
5+ years of experience with HCM technologies, focusing on data analysis, process improvement, and HCM systems management
Strong proficiency with BI tools, with experience in data interpretation and delivering insights to senior leadership.
5+ years working with enterprise-level database systems, ensuring data integrity and supporting HCM functions
Demonstrated success in leading medium-to-complex projects within HCM systems, working within budget constraints.
