Job Description:

Provides advanced painter skills and oversight on projects to include: erects scaffold, scrapes, sands, primes or seals surfaces prior to painting. Mixes, matches, and applies paint, varnish, enamels and other finishes and covers surfaces to protect against splatters or drips. Checks condition of woodwork, removes splatters paint upon job completion, and cleans and cares for brushes, spray guns and other equipment. Prepare drywall for finishes, tape and bed, and texture. Able to read blueprints and sketches and apply finishes accordingly. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED with 5 years of painting experience in residential or commercial setting and 3 years in a lead role. Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.

Preferred Education and Experience:

OSHA 10-Hour Training
