Job Summary :

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Financial Systems Analyst - Tax Data Automation & Analytics Developer with a strong focus on creating analytics, automation, and AI solutions for tax and financial data. This role is a pivotal member of our innovative Tax Technology team. The ideal candidate will possess the technical expertise to personally develop these solutions and the project management skills to drive multiple projects concurrently.

In this role, you will collaborate with various internal partners to bring innovative solutions to life. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint administration and technical architecture is a plus.

The candidate should be well-versed in leveraging Microsoft Power Platform applications such as Power BI and Power Automate, as well as Alteryx, Snowflake, and RPA tools to wrangle, dissect, and analyze complex financial datasets. This will enable the creation of innovative automation, analytics, and AI solutions.

The Lead Financial Systems Analyst will play a critical role in the company, delivering data-driven insights and recommendations that directly impact management and the strategic direction of the company’s financial analysis efforts. This position calls for someone who is not only technically proficient but also strategic in approach, with the ability to see the bigger picture and contribute significantly to the team’s success.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Analytics and Automation Development: Create innovative analytics, automation, and AI solutions to handle complex tax and financial data.

  • Project Management: Lead financial systems projects from inception through implementation and testing, ensuring milestones are met and projects progress smoothly.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal partners, particularly the Tax department, to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with tax laws.

  • Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain financial reporting models using Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx, AI, Excel, and SharePoint.

  • Data Insights: Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all financial systems.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial systems and reporting.

  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, IT, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in financial analysis, project management, and systems implementation.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in creating analytics, automation, and AI solutions using Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx, AI, Excel, and SharePoint.

  • Advanced SharePoint expertise, including administration and troubleshooting.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly with complex tax and financial data.

  • Project Management: Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely progress and completion.

  • Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience collaborating with various internal partners, including Tax departments.

  • Process Improvement: Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
