Robert Half HR Generalist in Dallas, Texas

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a meticulous HR Generalist to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The role will involve recruiting, hiring, and retention duties, as well as general HR responsibilities. The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in our team by ensuring our organization's compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit candidates for internal positions through online job postings, referrals, social media, and job fairs

• Interview potential candidates for hire and conduct new hire orientation

• Work closely with new hires to assess any obstacles which would hamper their success and address any shortcomings

• Plan and conduct employee morale events regularly

• Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys, keeping the strategy up to date

• Conduct exit interviews for any employee who leaves the company

• Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations

• Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities

• Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution

• Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations Requirements • Proficiency in HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems

• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Knowledge of Employee Benefit Plan management

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Experience in conflict resolution and employee relations

• Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

• Professional certification in Human Resources (such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is desirable

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to analyze and interpret HR data for decision making

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
