Endoscopic Technician (ERCP) Tech – Full Time Days

We’re looking for qualified Endoscopic Technicians to join our Texas Health family. Is that you?

Work location : Texas Health Dallas 8200 Walnut Hill Dallas, TX

Work hours : Full Time, 40 Hours, Monday – Friday 8:30am -5:00pm; On Call weekday, weekend, and holiday call Required, 30-minute response time required

What you will need:

· Education H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required

· 3 Years GI clinical experience Required

· Previous ERCP experience Preferred

· CNA - Certified Nurse's Aide Upon Hire Preferred Or

· MA - Medical Assistant Upon Hire Preferred Or

· EMT - Emergency Medical Technician Upon Hire Preferred And

· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required

What you will do:

· Collects patient data, identifies and reports significant findings to nurses.

· Performs technical procedures safely and proficiently.

· Takes action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.

· Documents accurately and appropriately.

· Assists in admission/transfer/discharge.

· In collaboration/consultation with nurse, adapt care to reflect age-specific and developmental considerations.

· In collaboration/consultation with the nurse, incorporates cultural/ religious needs and beliefs into delivery of care

· Supports and meets regulatory requirements.
