Our Analytics team focuses on leveraging advanced analytical and cybersecurity, privacy, and forensic techniques to help identify, mitigate, monitor, and respond to risks that impact our clients’ ability to effectively deliver on their business strategy. We focus on assisting organisations analyze vast amounts of electronic data and navigate the legal and business processes demanded by critical events which includes litigation, regulatory requests, cyber incidents, and investigations.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following:

  • Having the ability to think critically about the problem at hand and apply analytics strategy to solve problem and/or identify relevant observations for reporting:

  • Being comfortable with working in a fluid and fast paced environment where priorities, approaches, and deliverables are rapidly developed and iterated upon.

  • Demonstrating history of working with business and other non-technical stakeholders

  • Having the ability to translate technical concepts and results into business terms and impact.

  • Having the ability to clearly document work performed and observations identified:

  • Having the ability to synthesize key themes/concepts, critical issues/risks, etc. into succinct executive level communications (i.e., powerpoint, written reports, etc.)

  • Having the availability for both domestic and international travel on short notice and work additional hours as necessary:

  • Having proficiency with oral and written communication skills;

  • Having experience using ETL (Extract, Transform and Load), and having experience with SQL, Alteryx, Power Query and / or other agile technologies;

  • Possessing knowledge of business intelligence & data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik);

  • Having exposure to data from accounting systems application such as SAP, Oracle / PeopleSoft, JD Edwards etc;

  • Having exposure to a range of statistical and analytical techniques such as: Natural language processing, machine learning, conceptual modelling, algorithms, statistical analysis, predictive modeling and hypothesis testing;

  • Having experience leading analytic teams that have created and applied analytic frameworks to solve complex business problems;

  • Having the ability to identify and process critical data (e.g. internal client data, external public data, and new sources of data) to challenge the status quo through innovative thought leadership in the application of quantitative methodologies to improve decision-making; and,

  • Having experience identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships.

The salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $232,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
