We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an interim Controller in Dallas, Texas. This role requires a versatile finance and accounting professional who will oversee a wide range of responsibilities, from managing accounts payable and receivable to creating financial reports and conducting variance analyses. Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred. 100% ONSITE in Dallas, TX 75247.

Interim Controller (contract position):

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Accounts Payable; review and process checks

• Manage Accounts Receivable; collaborate on collections

• Handle credit card and bank reconciliations

• Manage intercompany transactions

• Handle multi-state Sales & Use Tax

• Manage inventory and write-offs for obsolete inventory

• Perform accounting for multiple entities

• Coordinate with CPA firm for taxes

• Conduct financial reporting for multiple entities

• Oversee financial matters for a distribution center and showroom

Skills:

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing and Account Reconciliation

• Ability to generate Monthly Financial Statements

• Familiarity with Journal Entry and General Ledger System

• Proficiency in Excel Formulas

• Experience in Audit - Financial and Audited Financial Statements

Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred

Multi-entity experience is a plus

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller or similar role

• Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven expertise in Auditing and Account Reconciliation

• Ability to prepare Monthly Financial Statements

• Experience with Journal Entry procedures

• Strong skills in Excel Formulas

• Familiarity with Audited Financial Statements

Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred

Multi-entity experience is a plus
