Description

We are looking for a Contracts Manager to join our team in Dallas, Texas. As a Contracts Manager, your role will involve managing various programs, interacting frequently with clients, and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all legal documents. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

1. Ensures accurate and timely completion all legal documents (agreements, amendments, trusts, notices, letters, checklists, etc.). This includes determining appropriate document type, making necessary changes, coordinating with clients and with other internal/external parties, as well as obtaining necessary approvals and signatures.

2. Gathers, reviews and maintains all corporate documents and other required documentation for all partner structures.

3. Maintains all documentation in department’s document storage tool, ensuring consistent and proper naming of files in correct folders, as well as AMP’s retrieval of documents.

4. Provides status reports, follow up communications and updates to workflow tool (Salesforce).

5. Reviews items for completeness and accuracy.

6. Prepares and updates contract matrices for all partner structures.

7. Coordinates with Legal team for changes to legal documents and for new legal documents.

8. Inputs into system maintenance screens to set up and maintain with accurate information.

9. Obtains proper authorizations and entitles users appropriate access to system; also provides client support for AMP issues, conducting research to determine how to resolve.

10. Provides accurate and timely responses to client requests.

11. Maintains a thorough understanding of the business and related documents.

Performs other functionally related duties and projects as assigned

Requirements • Must hold a relevant degree or equivalent experience in Contract Management or related field.

• Strong experience in reinsurance and profit sharing is required.

• Proficiency in FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is necessary.

• Demonstrated ability in drafting contracts and redlining.

• Must have a deep understanding of contract law and its application.

• Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex contracts.

• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when needed.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

• Must have a keen eye for detail, particularly in reviewing contracts.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Strong understanding of business and financial principles.

• Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• High level of professionalism and strong ethical stance.
