Commercial Painter
Job Description
Hospital painters perform commercial painting services for hospitals and healthcare facilities. They apply new coatings to improve the look of a building, make surfaces more durable, and enhance safety by providing easy-to-clean surfaces that can withstand disinfectant.
Responsibilities
Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks and holes in walls and other surfaces.
Using brushes or rollers to apply paint, varnishes, and sealants.
Covering exposed objects and surfaces with tarps and masking tape to protect them.
Performing repairs and grinding as needed.
Using spray guns for painting large areas efficiently.
Essential Skills
At least 2 years of commercial painting experience.
Ability to read, write, and speak effectively.
Experience in painting, paint prep, sanding, cleaning, and construction.
Proficiency in using a spray gun and prepping surfaces.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Construction background experience is beneficial.
Why Work Here?
This is a 5-6 month project with the opportunity to paint 52 rooms per floor and the corridors. The manager is flexible with scheduling, allowing for work from 7 am till done, mid- or overnight shifts. The manager is willing to work with your schedule as long as you commit to a full 8-10 hour shift depending on the workload. Enjoy working in a clean environment.
Work Environment
Work in a hospital and healthcare facility setting. The work involves painting multiple rooms and corridors. The environment is clean, and you will have the flexibility to choose your shift, whether it be morning, mid, or overnight, as long as you commit to a full shift.
