Description

We are seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Certified Individual Retirement Account (IRA) Services Professional to join our team. The candidate would serve as the primary contact for IRA account holders, and perform all IRA account services, in strict compliance with federal regulations and company policies. This position requires an individual who can deliver excellent customer services while demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of IRA rules, regulations, and products.

Responsibilities:

• Managing, servicing, and coordinating all aspects of IRA accounts.

• Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations related to IRA transactions.

• Resolving technical tax-related questions regarding IRA accounts.

• Assisting clients in understanding the nuances of IRA products.

• Regularly updating IRA account records and ensuring their accuracy and completeness.

• Providing superior customer service and resolving customer issues in a timely and professional manner.

• Working closely with the compliance team to address ongoing changes in regulations.

• Assisting with IRA plan distributions, assets transfers, and rollovers.

• Educating customers and employees about IRA products and the regulation changes.

• Remaining updated with the latest trends and best practices in IRA matters.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP) designation is required.

• Minimum three years of experience working with IRA accounts and related services.

• Extensive understanding of tax regulation as it applies to IRAs.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Detail-oriented and ability to organize and prioritize tasks.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

• Demonstrated ability to keep up to date with changes in relevant policy and regulation.

• Strong understanding of financial systems and processes related to retirement accounts.
