We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Controller in Dallas, Texas. This role is crucial to our team, focusing on the processing and maintenance of financial records for various managed funds. As an Assistant Controller, you will engage in a range of responsibilities, including monthly close process, regulatory report preparation, annual audit coordination, and private investment valuation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthly close process for multiple managed funds, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Conduct reconciliations, partner allocations, and performance fee calculations as part of the monthly close process.

• Prepare regulatory reports as needed for compliance purposes.

• Coordinate the annual audit and tax preparation process for funds with varying year-ends.

• Ensure the correct booking and valuation of private investments held in Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).

• Handle ad hoc reporting requests from external investors and the front office team.

• Serve as a backup for daily trading operations when needed.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to manage and analyze financial data.

• Apply skills in Fund Accounting and Management Fee Calculations for financial operations and reporting.

Requirements

• Possession of a Certified Public Accountant - CPA (US) AND a Bachelors / Honours Degree REQUIRED

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field

• Demonstrated skills in Valuations

• Experience in Management Fee Calculations

• Knowledge and experience in Fund Accounting

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of integrity and professionalism

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Familiarity with financial regulations and standards.
