Kuehne+Nagel Air Logistics Gateway & Procurement Specialist in Dallas, Texas

Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Dallas site is looking for a new Air Logistics Gateway & Procurement Specialist to join our Air Logistics team.

Your Role

As our Air Export Gateway Coordinator, you will responsible for the timely and cost effective movement of our air export freight managed by our Air Export Gateway department. The position is responsible for processing of Master Air Way Bill consolidations, and set trade-lanes. You will report to our Air Logistics Gateway and Procurement Supervisor.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare, handle and process documentation needed for air export consolidations

  • Arrange bookings with carriers

  • Track & trace shipments, monitor vendor performance, and address and resolve service irregularities

  • Maintain compliance standards at all times, including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations and customer requirements

  • Follow up to ensure shipments adhere to schedules

  • Support pricing team on rate quotes

  • Communicate with customers via phone or email.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar field preferred

  • 1+ year in air logistics and/or equivalent coursework is beneficial

  • Proficient computer skills (solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, excel, word, etc.)

  • Solid knowledge of export procedures/documentation is a plus

  • Good knowledge of international geography including countries, major cities
