Job Description

Intel Dalian Memory Technology and Manufacturing (DMTM) is high-volume manufacturing memory fab in Intel China working on leading edge 3D NAND product. Intel and SK Hynix have an agreement for SK Hynix to acquire Intel's NAND memory and storage business. and Intel will continue to manufacture NAND wafers at the Dalian memory manufacturing until the final closing expected to occur in March 2025. Intel DMTM will continue to build on the success of our NAND technology at a greater scale, play a larger role in supporting our customers.

The Senior Accounting Analyst will take in charge of a set of accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies, and external audits. This role cover the accounts payable function, payroll function, monthly closing of accounts, and preparation of financial statements.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

o Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

o Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.

o Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits with certain guidance.

2. Accounts Payable and Receivable (external and intercompany):

o Provide guidance for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including customer billing, collections, and credit control as well as Payroll accounting treatment.

3. Month-End Closing and Financial Analysis:

o Led sub-functional team in preparing the month-end closing process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.

o Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

4. Process Improvement:

o Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.

o Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

5. Accounting System Maintenance and Digitalization:

o Evaluate and enhance existing accounting systems (such as ERP software) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity.

o Drive digital transformation efforts within the accounting department, including process automation, data analytics, and cloud-based solutions.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

o Work closely with other departments (such as finance, operations, and legal) to ensure alignment and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
