Job Title: 2nd Shift Assembly Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves working on an assembly line where plastic cartridges are assembled, inspected, and processed using various small machines. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production process.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly of the cartridges using hands and simple tools to snap pieces in place.

• Perform visual inspection of products at three different stages along the assembly line.

• Create labels for the cartridges.

• Operate instruments to laminate and seal products.

• Adhere to aseptic gowning (bunny suit) protocols and follow SOPs for cleanroom operations.

Essential Skills

• Visual inspection of in-process materials.

• Operation of various manufacturing equipment.

• Strict adherence to SOPs.

• Ability to gown aseptically (training provided).

• Documentation of activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in high volume production (assembly, machine operating, or packaging).

• Ability to stand for the majority of the shift.

• Clean room experience is preferred but not required.

• Medical device assembly or packaging experience is a huge plus but not required.

• Experience working in FDA, GDP, and GMP environments is preferred.

• Comfortable with repetitive and detail-oriented work.

Work Environment

You will be working in a cleanroom environment, wearing coveralls (bunny suit), booties, gloves, hair net, safety glasses, and face masks. The position requires working within 3 feet of others on the assembly line and occasionally interacting with coworkers at a closer distance. The workflow is steady throughout the entire shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cypress, California.
