Job Description Summary

Coordinates all aspects of a product or service offering project for a client, from inception to installation.

Installations may involve acceptance of capitalized equipment or enterprise software systems, or system integration or consulting projects/engagements.

May work at client site from time to time.

Typically involves extensive interaction with sales, systems engineering, product development, and other members of cross functional teams.

Project is typically focused on the delivery of new or enhanced products to improvement of customer satisfaction through the use of technology.

Project management skills, rather than technical skills, are key, but a strong technical background is often required to manage competing interests.

Typically oversees schedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment.

Co-ordinate through the development managers all delivery activities

Overall responsibility to meet to the deliverable’s schedule and quality expectations

Manage the Project team, Plan & Adhere to the schedule and Quality expectations

As a Project Manager (PM), someone needs to be able to:

  • Technical Project managers and Coordinators to run a PMO for Cloud/DC/NW/Security enabling services.

  • Professionals who take pride in getting it done, within scope, time and budget. In this role Senior PM will manage multiple, simultaneous tracks to deploy Multiple Service Solutions for our clients.

  • As the Senior Project Manager it is essential to be able to understand the technical design and coordinate the execution of the various implementation activities, performed by engineers and external parties (vendors, affiliates and third-party suppliers).

  • Senior PM keep control of all of project related resources, maintain a structured plan for the execution and report and escalate during the deployment phase.

  • Experiences with structured hand-over procedures to operations, including solid a acceptance criteria.

  • Typically, 5 to 20 years of experience and should have project managed at least 5 transitions into a cloud environment and lead a team of above peoples.

  • Getting right customer requirements and Define the Project formation properly to realize the solution provisioning.

  • Define the RACI and SOW of related internal and external stakeholders based on customer's requirements

  • Create Project Charter/Proposal /WBS to manage the project properly. (Scope, Schedule, Deliverables, and Acceptance criteria).

  • Make sure to follow the change management process to handle the requirement(s) from customer.

  • Define and agree the financial parameters (costing, profit margin, payment terms, resource plan, Bill of materials, and other related) before the project execution.

  • Manage the quality of each deliverable by collaborating with related parties.

  • Design measures to improve the quality of deliverables in case the issue happened.

  • Define the communication plan for both internal and external, and lead the communication with proper agenda, and set the next action and dead line of each stakeholder.

  • Bridge the communication of each stakeholder and manage their expectation.

  • Report the project status and issue/risks to manager or stakeholder timely and Manage them effectively.

In addition, as part of NTT, our customers are Japanese oriented companies. From the project initiation phase until the project closure, the customer counterparts are mostly Japanese speakers.

Accordingly, the Project Manager needs to be able to write proposals, make explanation, actively engage with a broad spectrum of customers (via meetings or one-to-one conversations), by using Japanese language.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

・Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

・Project management certification

・Relevant technical certifications (preferred)

Required Experience:

・Broad range of experience working with clients to understand their requirements and define

appropriate solutions

・Demonstrated project management experience
