Al's Diesel in Cut Bank is looking for a Full - Time Diesel Mechanic - Monday thru Friday --- Wage - $18.00 - DOE Job Duties: Diagnose, service and repair diesel engines, trucks, transmissions, etc. Provide quality service and customer experience. Utilize testing equipment, precision instruments and gauges, hand tools, portable power tools, cranes and hoists as needed. Perform safety and maintenance checks Provide onsite/call out service and delivery/pickup as needed Follow all safety regulations Troubleshoots and tests Detroit Diesel and Caterpillar engines. Compares test results to specifications and determines if the system is working as designed. Oversees installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that engines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications. USES SERVICE MANUALS, SIS and parts books effectively to address technical issues. Performs all required tasks in accordance with printed procedures. Writes complete, factual service reports for files and warranty purposes. Must be well qualified and trained in use of all troubleshooting methods, repair and diagnosis.
