The Apple Services Engineering team builds products and services for our customers, and helps the rest of Apple do that too. These are the people responsible for products such as Apple Music, Podcasts, TV+, tvOS, App Store, iCloud, Business & Education, as well as technologies like Commerce, Search & Recommendations, Data Platform, and many more. This team also builds and manages cloud infrastructure, supporting teams and services across Apple. And they do it on a massive scale, meeting Appleʼs high expectations with high performance to deliver services in over 35 languages to more than 175 countries. We’re looking for a collaborative, organized and strategic team member with a passion for improving organizational efficiency, establishing business process and managing change and ongoing rhythm of business alongside leadership. You will work in a range of capacities from strategic planning, promoting effective communication, process development, and supporting special projects. You will join a team of program managers who provide dedicated support to senior leaders in Apple Services Engineering.

Description

You’ll primarily support Infrastructure engineering teams, partnering with the leadership team to define and execute strategic organizational development initiatives and business priorities. Responsibilities include: *Supporting leadership team to plan and develop agendas for recurring strategic and operational meetings, such as weekly staff. Capture action items and ensure actions are tracked and executed. *Coordinate quarterly business reviews, planning meetings and offsites including setting the agenda, partnering with presenters on content, and coordinating logistics. *Driving adoption and measuring the impact of standard practices and tools across the organization. *Overseeing and leading key organizational tasks like space planning, growth planning, headcount planning, fiscal budget planning, and management in partnership with finance and admin teams. *Identifying cultural areas for improvement and turning them into action in partnership with People Team and Learning & Development experts. Could include initiatives around career development, hiring, employee engagement, training, communication. *Developing and driving communication plans, including All Hands, blogs, leadership updates and internal documentation. To be successful in this role, you will need to build effective partnerships across Apple and facilitate communication between cross functional groups. You’ll bring the right players together to solve problems and focus on how to develop repeatable, scalable solutions. Education

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ year experience as a Chief of Staff, Operations Manager, Business Manager or similar.

  • Proven ability to manage large, complex projects effectively in fast-paced and global team.

  • Excellent organization skills, acute attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks.

  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex information to be easily digestible for a variety of audiences.

  • Curious, flexible and a dedicated problem solver. Listening and learning are key.

  • Experience planning and executing virtual or in person team events such as offsites, All Hands or connection events.

  • Flexible and adaptable working style; can easily accommodate changes in priorities.

  • Strong sense of professionalism; able to work autonomously on assignments and handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.

  • Excellent meeting facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Has a “can-do” attitude in all situations; no task is too big or too small to handle.

  • Experience working with software engineering organizations preferred.

  • Experience with Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and other Apple tools preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,900 and $255,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
