Description
We're looking for someone who is passionate about technology and want to build intelligent adaptive software that is used by millions of people every day. Our team, Proactive Contextual Systems, is building the next generation of system-level intelligent experiences, and we need your help! You will contribute to prototyping and exploration of novel experiences that shape our products and also design and build features utilizing groundbreaking ML platforms and technology, including working with Apple Intelligence. You’ll also collaborate with outstanding engineering and cross-functional partners who will help you succeed and grow. You should have a strong understanding of object-oriented software design, good debugging skills, and an eagerness to tackle tough problems and learn from amazing teammates. Familiarity with ML is a plus! We’re looking for talented engineers like you, creative and eager to build new systems and rich experiences that contribute to Apple’s magic.
Minimum Qualifications
Exceptional development experience at the application level with Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa, or C++.
Knowledge of Apple’s development APIs (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Cocoa, CoreFoundation).
Ability and passion to deliver extraordinary results with a lot of initiative.
Proven track record writing reliable, well tested performant software systems
Understanding of performance tradeoffs and experience in low-latency programming.

Background and understanding of ML & related tools is a plus!

B.S in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
