As a Finance Process & Solutions (FPS) Project Manager you will be responsible for working with Finance teams to assess processes, procedures and non IS&T system solutions. You will connect with various teams to find opportunities for process improvement, system implementation and development of system and technology roadmaps.

Description

Serving multiple functions including consulting and liaising with business partners, in this role you will document and assess process re-engineering opportunities, and work with technology groups to deliver systematic solutions. Aspects of the process project manager's role and responsibilities will include: • Finding opportunities for process re-engineering and detailed solution requests. • Analyse layered business problems and provide consultation to partners in the areas of data solutions & automated systems. • Drive process improvement initiatives, by working with the business teams to identify, specific measurable goals and objectives, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives in order to perfect standard methodologies. • Plan, perform and document process improvement initiatives. Diagram and evaluate existing processes to define more efficient future state processes. • Support the identification, evaluation and prioritization of solutions that meet the needs of business partners. • Developing, leading & driving PLC/AGILE project management deliverables, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), detailed project plans, landmarks and results for seamless project implementation and adoption of new systems and processes. • Providing concise updates regarding overall status, issues, risks and recommended actions to be taken. • Establish links with Finance BPR Leads as well as CFO staff members & their direct staff across the world to better understand their processes and problems. • Work with CFO staff & teams to develop strategic roadmaps for processes and systems for Finance. • A consistent track record of working well with all levels of leadership, and an ability to actively engage partners and customers to ensure that projects are done on time and within budget.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Finance / Accounting or Management Information Systems qualification & 5+ years experience

  • Process design and re-engineering experience

  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to quickly develop strong working relationships with global business partners

  • The ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in an unstructured, global and virtual environment

  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies

  • Proven track record of working with hands on with technical teams to bring projects to market on time and on budget

  • Experience indirectly managing a globally distributed team

  • Experience collaborating cross functionally and working directly with business users

  • Ability to develop strategies, and implement solutions.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,300 and $197,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
